You’re adding a detached garage, shed or workshop and need a clear plan set for your permit submittal, based on a manufacturer kit/spec sheet, confirmed dimensions or a usable sketch, without a full custom design engagement.
We serve California, Texas (including Houston, where this service started) and Florida. Everything is handled online: you send your materials digitally and we deliver a PDF plan set.
What we need from you

- Size and layout: kit/manufacturer spec sheet preferred, or clear dimensions or a usable sketch
- Foundation type
- Any uploads that help lock the geometry early
A manufacturer kit sheet reduces back-and-forth. If something is missing, we send a short fix list before production starts.

Local rules come first
Whether a detached garage or shed needs a permit, and what the plan set must show, depends on its size, use and location and on your city or county’s current rules. We are not the permitting authority. Requirements vary by city and county, so we confirm your jurisdiction within 1 business day of submission.
Some jurisdictions require engineered foundation, wind or seismic details, or a professional stamp, for new detached structures. Stamps and seals are not offered at launch. If your jurisdiction requires one for your structure, we’ll tell you before you pay so you can use your own licensed professional.
Approval is determined by your local building department. We do not collect or pay permit fees.

What’s the difference between Basic and Standard?
Basic ($399) is an essential permit-oriented plan set for straightforward projects. Standard ($599) adds detail sheets for clearer submittal and build communication. Same process and turnaround.
How long does it take?
Typically 5 to 7 business days after we validate your intake and you confirm the geometry. Rush may be quoted separately when capacity allows.
Are these plans stamped by an engineer?
No. This product does not include a stamp or sealed engineering. If your jurisdiction requires one, we’ll tell you before you pay.
Do you guarantee approval?
No. Your city or county decides approval. We provide an organized, permit-oriented plan set and one in-scope revision.
Is this the same as a garage conversion?
No. This line is for a new detached structure. Converting an existing garage into living space is our Garage / ADU Conversion renovation package.
